CHILD NUTRITION SERVICES

Buckingham County Public Schools' Child Nutrition Services is operated under the federally funded School Nutrition Program. Nutrition is an important part of the education process.  Studies show that well-nourished students are better prepared to learn. The School Nutrition Program strives to provide nutritious meals to our students, and we are committed to making nutritious meals available to every child in Buckingham County Public Schools.  We work to ensure that our students receive courteous service and attractive, well-balanced meals every day.

Breakfast is provided at no charge to all students at Buckingham County Public Schools. For the 2016-2017 school year, lunch is available to students for $2.25. Reduced prices are available for students that have submitted an Application for Free or Reduced Lunch, are qualified, and have been approved. The reduced price for lunch is $0.40.  Parents are welcome to come and eat with their child at any time. The cost of an adult meal is $3.20.

The BCPS Nutrition Services Program has partnered with MySchoolBucks.com to allow parents to check balances and add money directly to their student's lunch account.  To you use this service, parents must register online at MySchoolBucks.com.
