The Buckingham County High School members of the Student Council Association (SCA) under the leadership of SCA Advisor Mrs. Mary Stearrett, SCA President Ms. Rebecca Ragland, and SCA Vice-President Ms. Taylor Corona led
a dignified ceremony of remembrance in front of the entire high school student body earlier today. A moment of silence was observed at 8:46 AM followed by the presentation of colors by our JROTC followed by our band playing our National Anthem.  We were inspired by the keynote speakers: Sheriff Billy Kidd, Mr. Tajhmir Gough, Sergeant Bruce Grazier, Ms. Kayla Sage, and Mr. Roethel.  These speakers delivered heartfelt messages with regard to service and what the tragic events of September 11, 2001 means to our country. The students are commended for their respect and grace shown to our guest speakers and the ceremony. Buckingham Public School staff thanks you for your support and dedication to our kids as we provide models of service and leadership through such venues.  Buckingham continues to exemplify excellence to our students, as the community unites for the good of all.
