Buckingham FFA Attends National Convention

Buckingham FFA Attends National Convention
Members of the Buckingham Senior FFA Chapter attended the 91st National FFA Convention October 24th - 27th in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, they were recognized as a Two-Star National Chapter. Trevor Agee, Chapter President, and Jakob Toney, Chapter Vice-President accepted this award at the National Chapter Banquet. This award is awarded 1 through 3 stars.  The Buckingham chapter received this award for the 2nd year in a row. The award is based on the chapter’s activities throughout the school year. Those activities are based on growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. Buckingham was one of 22 chapters in Virginia that were eligible for this award. During the convention, members explored the Agriculture Career and Educational Exposition, visited the National FFA Center and took a lap around the track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Buckingham Senior Chapter would also like to thank the Buckingham County Farm Bureau for their donation to the FFA which made this trip possible.
