Medford Basketball Team Selling Sponsor T-Shirts

The Medford Basketball Team will be selling sponsor t-shirts again this year.  This year we will be offering a long-sleeved t-shirt.  The cost of the shirt is $20 each.  All proceeds go towards purchasing items for our players.  Click here for the order form if you are interested in purchasing one.  Orders and payment are due by November 23rd.

BCHS JROTC Raider Teams Place First in Buena Vista Mountain Meet

JROTC Raider Teams were awarded two out of three categories for Raider at Buena Vista Mountain, held on October 15, 2016, and sponsored by Harrisonburg High School JROTC. The Bravo team, led by Cadet Destiny Sutton,  would place first overall, first in logistics, first in rope bridge, first in the physical fitness test, and  first in the 5K. Cadet Haley Wyant was top female in pushups with 54 in one minute, and Morgan Pugh placed first  in the mile run with a time of 7:04.  Alpha team. led by Cadet Trenton Houser,  would place first overall, first in logistics, first in the 5K, first in rope bridge, and first in litter carry.

BCMS 4-H Participants Featured on Roanoke News Broadcast

Two BCMS students, Minnie Wallace and Rachel Bardon, were featured in a broadcast segment on the Roanoke Station WFXR.  Click here to view the segment.

BCMS Student Wins Grand Champion at Five County Fair

BCMS student, Tanner Wise, won Grand Champion at the Five County Fair and is featured in an article in the Farmville Herald.  Click here to view the article.  Congratulations Tanner!

JROTC Raider Team Takes First Place in Raider on the New River Meet

The JROTC Raider team competed in the annual Raider on the New River (half marathon - 13.1 miles) Raider meet on Saturday, September 24th. The female team led by Morgan Pugh placed first place overall and Morgan was named top female athlete. Cadets Trenton Houser, Morgan Pugh, John Vencil and Nathan Farmer would lead all the teams to trophies in the following events: 3rd place Physical Fitness test, 1st in logistics relay, 1st in the rock wall, 3rd on the rope bridge, 2nd in litter carry and the 12-mile hike. Congratulations to all Raider on the New River Raiders.
