The Knights' Armor Food Pantry will offer summer pickup days on June 10th between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm and July 16th between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Pickups are by appointment and must be made 2 days before the pickup date. To schedule, please contact Ms. Richardson at 434-969-6100 ext. 22112. Please note that if the call is not answered, leave a voicemail with a return contact number, and she will return your call. Should there be an emergent need outside of the scheduled summer pickup days, please contact the Buckingham County High School at 434-969-6160 and ask to speak with building administration or a school counselor. Due to the upcoming weather, tonight’s girls' softball game at home will now begin at 4:15 PM. Both teams, along with the umpires, mutually agreed to move the start time earlier in an effort to beat the storm.
As a result, admission for tonight’s game will be FREE! 🥎
Both teams are already on the field and preparing to play. Come out early and support our Lady Knights! 💚💛

Softball 🥎 will now host Nottoway at 4:30 today! This is a change.
Baseball ⚾ & JV Softball 🥎 travel to Nottoway - Game now at 5:00. This is a change, too!

The Buckingham County Public Schools has been informed that there is a measles outbreak in our community. At this time, there are no confirmed cases in our public schools, and our schools will remain open.
We are monitoring this situation very closely and have been working on a daily basis with Piedmont Health District Director Dr. Maria Almond. She has provided direct guidance to the division, and we have followed that guidance carefully. We are fully in compliance with the recommendations provided by the Health District.
Out of an abundance of caution, we began reviewing student immunization records last week. We have also been in contact with parents and guardians of students who, based on our records, may not be fully immunized and may be of higher risk of acquiring the infection. This outreach is intended to help families understand any steps they may need to take and to support the continued health and safety of our schools.
We will continue to follow guidance from public health officials, monitor developments closely, and share additional updates if there is new information that impacts our schools.

The BCHS Soccer game scheduled against Cumberland today, May 14th, will no longer be played, as Cumberland forfeited due to a lack of enough players. The Senior Night for Soccer will now be held on Thursday, May 21st, with the Softball Senior Night at 5:00 PM.
