At this month’s Buckingham County School Board meeting, we were pleased to recognize the NAACP Youth Council and show our appreciation for their support of Buckingham County Public Schools students. In partnership with local churches, the Youth Council collected and donated school supplies to help ensure our students had the resources they needed to start the school year ready for success. We are grateful for young people who are making a difference in their community and for the local churches and community members who joined them in supporting our students. Thank you to the NAACP Youth Council for demonstrating leadership, service, and a commitment to our Buckingham community!

Buckingham Elementary School is currently seeking vendors for its 2nd Annual Holiday Craft Show. The BES Holiday Craft Show will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Vendor space is $35 per 10' x 10' space. There will be handmade goods, unique finds, arts, crafts, and boutiques. All proceeds support students and programs at Buckingham Elementary. The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 5th.
We will be utilizing our Open Gate security system again this school year.
Please provide updated email addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contact information to your child’s school.
If there has been an update to your child’s medical status, which could include medication or school recommendations from a licensed medical provider, please provide documentation to your child’s school prior to August 5th.
If you are not already set up with a Parent Portal account, please stop by the sign-up table at your child’s school. We will need your name and email address.
Kindergarten students with last names A-M will attend school on August 5th.
Kindergarten students with last names N-Z will attend school on August 6th.
All Kindergarten students will attend school on August 7th.
