BCPS Families, There has been some confusion about accessing the student report cards through the Parent Portal. As previously stated, to view a PDF copy of the report card, you must log in to the Parent Portal from a web browser on a computer. You may access the Parent Portal Login screen via the BCPS district website,
https://www.bcpschools.org/. Choose the Parent Resources tab at the top of the page and then select the Parent Portal Login link on the Parents page. This will take you directly to the Parent Portal Sign-In Page. If you are experiencing any difficulty accessing Parent Portal or would like assistance setting up your account, please contact Candice Dowse at
cdowse@bcpschools.org. Thank you!

Celebrate Virginia Farm to School Week, October 6–10, 2025.
October is National Farm to School Month, a time to celebrate nationwide connections between schools, early care and adult centers, and local farms! Virginians celebrate Virginia Farm to School Week during the first full week of October to kick off the month.
Farm to school enriches the connection communities have with fresh, healthy food and local food producers by changing food purchasing and education practices at schools and early care settings. Agriculture is Virginia's largest private industry, and supporting local farms increases employment opportunities and community food security while providing the freshest food for all learners.
During Virginia Farm to School Week, the "Crunch Heard' Round the Commonwealth" will make some noise for Virginia farm to school programs on Thursday, October 9. Students, families, schools, farms, education centers, and community members can learn how to build upon farm-to-school programming in their communities by visiting the Virginia Department of Education, Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs Farm to School webpage.

Sir Knights a Lot surprised the elementary school by helping to bestow the Golden Plunger to the grade with the cleanest bathroom. Fifth grade won that title. Next were the Silver Tray awards for the classes with the cleanest lunch table. Third grade was Mrs. Tyler, 4th grade was Mrs. Ragland, and 5th grade was Mrs. Price. The last award was the Golden Tray and that was a tie between 4th and 5th grades. #EveryKnightEveryDay. #TheBuckinghamWay!
