🚌💚💛 National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23, 2026 💛💚🚌

This week, we celebrate our transportation team and all the everyday heroes who help keep our Knights safe on the journey to and from school! 🛡️

This year’s theme, “Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes,” reminds us that school bus safety is a shared responsibility. From our dedicated bus drivers and transportation staff to our students, families, educators, and motorists, we all play an important role in protecting our children.

Let’s work together to keep our students safe by:
🚌 Following school bus safety rules.
🚸 Stopping for school buses when required by law.
💛 Being alert and patient around bus stops and school buses.
👏 Thanking our bus drivers for the important work they do every day!

Calling all students! ✍️📚 We invite students of all grade levels to share their creativity and gratitude by writing an original essay or poem honoring our brave veterans and the sacrifices they have made for our freedom.

✨ Topics could include:
❤️ What Veterans Day means to you
💙 A thank-you to a veteran
❤️ A personal story or connection
💙 The importance of service and sacrifice
❤️ How veterans inspire you

🏆 Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade level! Winners will receive special prizes, including a pizza lunch, and our first-place winners will have the opportunity to have their writing read during our Veterans Day assembly!
