BCHS is proud to recognize Liz Lann as our Paraeducator of the Week for her outstanding dedication and commitment to our students. Liz consistently goes above and beyond to support learning, build positive relationships, and foster a positive, supportive classroom environment. Her patience, flexibility, and caring attitude make a meaningful difference each and every day.

In appreciation of her hard work and impact, Liz was presented with a certificate and a gift card by Principal Damon Talley and Assistant Principal Faith Jones. Congratulations, Liz, and thank you for all that you do!

We are excited to share that the Buckingham County School Board officially approved the 2026–2027 School Calendar at its February 11, 2026, meeting. The approved calendar is attached for your reference. You can also find it on our website under District Calendar> Approved District Calendars.

📌 Quick Highlights:

First Day of School: August 5, 2026

Last Day for Students: May 20, 2027

Graduation: May 15, 2027 (location dependent)

Winter Break: December 17, 2026 – January 1, 2027

Spring Break: March 26 – April 2, 2027

Parent/Teacher Conferences:

Fall: September 21–25, 2026

Winter/Spring: February 22–26, 2027
