🎉 Help Us Make Buckingham Elementary’s Bingo Night a HUGE Success! 🎉

Buckingham Elementary is hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser on Tuesday, November 10th, and we’re looking for local businesses, families, and community members who would like to help make this a fun and memorable night for our students and families!

Admission to Bingo Night will be FREE, and families will purchase bingo cards at the event. We will also have food/snacks for sale! Our goal is to raise money for Buckingham Elementary to support student and staff activities, school needs, supplies, and experiences for our Knights! 💚💛

We are currently seeking donated prizes and monetary donations to purchase prizes.

Some of the things we are hoping to collect include:
🎁 Gift cards
🍕 Restaurant certificates
🎳 Free experiences — bowling, movies, etc.
🎟️ Tickets or passes
🎮 Toys, games, and electronics
🎨 Family activities and experiences
💇 Services or certificates
💰 Monetary donations to help us purchase prizes

⭐ DONATORS/CONTRIBUTORS
All local businesses, families, and community members who donate monetary funds, prizes, or contribute in anyway will be showcased on our thank you sign at the bingo event, in addition to this the top 5 contributors will receive a special shoutout on our school Facebook page!

🛒 SHOP OUR AMAZON PRIZE TABLE WISH LIST!
We've also created an Amazon Wish List specifically for Bingo Night prizes! 🛍️🎁
If you'd rather shop for a prize than make a monetary donation, you are welcome to purchase an item directly from our wish list. We also are accepting Amazon gift cards. Every item purchased will help us stock our Prize Table with fun prizes for our Bingo Night.

🎁 DONATING A PRIZE INSTEAD?
We would LOVE donated prizes, too! If you have a gift card, free experience, tickets, products, services, or another family-friendly prize you'd like to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.
Donations don't have to fit one of the levels above. Every gift, whether it's a small item, a gift card, a donated experience, an Amazon Wish List purchase, or a monetary contribution, helps us make Bingo Night a success!

If you or your business would like to donate, please reach out to us! We would be happy to answer any questions or arrange to pick up a donation.

💙 KNIGHTS AGAINST BULLYING! 💙

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time to remind ourselves that each of us has the power to make our school a kinder, more welcoming place. 💙

This Friday, October 2, we’re asking our BCHS students and staff to WEAR BLUE to show our support for bullying prevention, kindness, inclusion, and respect!

At BCHS, being a Knight means looking out for one another. A kind word, an invitation to join in, standing up for someone, or simply choosing kindness can make a bigger difference than we realize. 🫶

Let’s fill the halls with BLUE on Friday and show that our Knights choose KINDNESS! 💙💚💛

Be Kind. Be Inclusive. Be a Knight. ⚔️

At this month’s Buckingham County School Board meeting, we were pleased to recognize the NAACP Youth Council and show our appreciation for their support of Buckingham County Public Schools students. In partnership with local churches, the Youth Council collected and donated school supplies to help ensure our students had the resources they needed to start the school year ready for success. We are grateful for young people who are making a difference in their community and for the local churches and community members who joined them in supporting our students. Thank you to the NAACP Youth Council for demonstrating leadership, service, and a commitment to our Buckingham community!
