
The deadline to purchase a yearbook is this Friday, 3/14/25. Yearbooks are $22.00. You can purchase them online at www.strawbridge.net or send cash/check to school with your child. Checks should be made to BMS.
The deadline to turn in permission slips and money for the 6th grade field trip to the Paramount Theater/Michie Tavern is Friday, 3/14/25. The field trip costs $21.00. You can pay with cash or make checks payable to BMS.

The Buckingham County School Board will hold a special closed meeting with the Virginia School Boards Association on February 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. for discussion of superintendent vacancy candidates at the BARN. The school board will then hold a budget work session at 3:00 p.m. at the Buckingham Middle School cafeteria. Prior to the meeting at 2:30, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Middle School Sports Complex Restroom Facility.

The BCHS Indoor Track Teams competed in the Region 2B Indoor Track Championship and the team had seven members qualifying for the upcoming Class 2 State Championships on March 5th - 6th. Congratulations to the state qualifiers: Semaj Booker, MaLeah Monroe, Maurice Tyree, Trent Ragland, Jayshawn Bolden, Te'Rion Holman, and Ethan Walter


The BCHS JV Girl's Basketball Team won the James River District JV Girls' Basketball Regular Season. Congratulations to Head Coach Deborah Terrell and her JV Lady Knights!
