Tips for Successfully Starting the New Nine-Weeks

We are excited to be starting a new nine-weeks and seeing all of the progress our students are making. Here are a few tips for being successful in a virtual setting:

1) Complete assignments by their due dates, if something comes up, reach out to your teacher to make accommodations.
2) Communicate with teachers through text, email, and Google Classroom.
3) Set up a Parent Portal to view and monitor grades.
4) Join Google Meets and watch instructional videos.
5) Spend time doing classwork just like you would if we were not virtual. If your class is 90 minutes, you should be dedicating close to that time each day. Submit quality work and if you are unsure of something, reach out to a teacher. Sample schedules are available on the website.
