The families that were signed up have been notified. If additional food is available after distribution, a message will be sent with instructions on how those who missed the sign-up deadline can claim the extra items. Last week, Buckingham FFA members spent the day in Richmond speaking with legislators about FFA and Agricultural Education. They were able to speak with Senator Cifers and Delegate Garrett in person. Members also had the opportunity to take a large-group photo with Governor Spanberger and approximately 900 other Virginia FFA members. Afterwards, they enjoyed a history lesson with a tour of the Capitol!

❄️ Winter Weather Meal Pickup – Care in Action ❄️
As we prepare for the incoming winter weather, Buckingham County Public Schools was proud to support our students and families by providing meals to ensure no child goes without during the storm.
Thanks to the incredible teamwork of our cafeteria staff, maintenance team, grounds team, central office staff, and other dedicated school employees, more than 400 students received meals; prepared, packed, and delivered with care.
From early morning planning to lifting boxes, organizing bags, and making sure everything ran smoothly, this effort truly showcased what it means to be a school community that takes care of its own. 💚
We are grateful for the hard work, flexibility, and heart shown by our staff, and thankful for the opportunity to serve our students when it matters most.
