Join us for the BES 2025–2026 Award Ceremonies on May 20th as we recognize all the hard work and achievements of our students!

Buckingham Primary School has been recognized as a Virginia Project ADAM Heart Safe School through the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, highlighting its commitment to a safe and prepared school environment. A special thank you to School Nurse Katie Bryant, who spearheaded this effort and helped make this achievement possible!

Congratulations to Nadia Exantus, 5th grader, for her 2nd Place Award in the 2026 VSBA Art Contest!



We were honored to present a resolution recognizing the life and legacy of Betty Ruth Elliott and her meaningful contributions to Buckingham County Public Schools. Her dedication and commitment to our students and community made a lasting impact. The resolution was accepted by her family on her behalf, and we are grateful for the years she devoted to supporting education in Buckingham County and proud to celebrate her legacy.
