🌍✈️ European Mediterranean Tour – Final Update! 🇪🇸❤️
What an incredible adventure it has been!
Our BCHS students wrapped up their European Mediterranean Tour with a visit to the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain. From taking in breathtaking views at the National Art Museum of Catalonia to exploring the city’s beautiful waterfront, they finished their journey with unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories.
One of the highlights of the trip was sharing the adventure with our new friends from Houston, who traveled alongside us throughout the tour. By the end of the trip, we weren’t just travel companions—we were one big family! A special thank you also goes to our wonderful tour director, Claudia, whose knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness made this experience even more meaningful.
Travel has a unique way of bringing people together while opening our eyes to new cultures, history, and perspectives. We know our students are returning home with stories they’ll be telling for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who followed along with our journey through Italy, France, and Spain. We hope you enjoyed traveling with us from afar!

We look forward to greeting our students, parents, and families tomorrow, Friday, July 31st, for Open House and Orientation sessions. A complete list of all Open House and Orientation times is attached to this message. When you come to the Open House, please remember the following:
The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 5th.
We will be utilizing our Open Gate security system again this school year.
Please provide updated email addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contact information to your child’s school.
If there has been an update to your child’s medical status, which could include medication or school recommendations from a licensed medical provider, please provide documentation to your child’s school prior to August 5th.
If you are not already set up with a Parent Portal account, please stop by the sign-up table at your child’s school. We will need your name and email address.
Kindergarten students with last names A-M will attend school on August 5th.
Kindergarten students with last names N-Z will attend school on August 6th.

Parent and student PowerSchool accounts will close for the summer at the end of the day on Thursday, June 11th. Accounts will be reactivated on Monday, July 27th. At that time, unofficial student schedules will be available for preview. Please note that students have the first 3 days of the semester, August 5th, 6th, and 7th, to request a schedule change.
If your child requested honors or dual enrollment English, there is summer reading and an assignment. Emails were sent out last week with that information to those students and parents.
