Due to the upcoming weather, tonight’s girls' softball game at home will now begin at 4:15 PM. Both teams, along with the umpires, mutually agreed to move the start time earlier in an effort to beat the storm.
As a result, admission for tonight’s game will be FREE! 🥎
Both teams are already on the field and preparing to play. Come out early and support our Lady Knights! 💚💛

As we close out another incredible school year at Buckingham County High School, we want to thank our students, staff, and families for making this year one to remember. From the classroom to the field, the stage to the community — our Knights showed dedication, resilience, leadership, and school pride every step of the way.
We are so proud of all you have accomplished this year! 💚💛
Have a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer break, Knights! ☀️
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you.
Once a Knight, always a Knight. 🛡️ #BCHSKnights #LastDayOfSchool #KnightPride #HaveAGreatSummer

We are monitoring this situation very closely and have been working on a daily basis with Piedmont Health District Director Dr. Maria Almond. She has provided direct guidance to the division, and we have followed that guidance carefully. We are fully in compliance with the recommendations provided by the Health District.
Out of an abundance of caution, we began reviewing student immunization records last week. We have also been in contact with parents and guardians of students who, based on our records, may not be fully immunized and may be of higher risk of acquiring the infection. This outreach is intended to help families understand any steps they may need to take and to support the continued health and safety of our schools.
We will continue to follow guidance from public health officials, monitor developments closely, and share additional updates if there is new information that impacts our schools.
