Dear Buckingham High School Families,
We are excited about what we believe will be another successful school year at Buckingham County High School. One of our major adjustments this year is the adoption of a new bell schedule, which includes a “flex” block known as Knight Time.
Knight Time was created to provide opportunities for:
Academic support and intervention
Clubs and activities
SEL (social-emotional learning) and advisory programming
Enrichment
Test make-ups
Group work or reteaching
Industry certification preparation
Project completion
Please note that Knight Time is part of the instructional day, and students are expected to be in school for the full duration of the day (8:10 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.), unless other arrangements are approved according to their course schedule. Attendance during this time is essential, and absences may affect final grades/graduation.
If you have any questions, please contact our main office. Thank you for your continued support.

BCHS celebrated Patriots' Day, commemorating the strength and resilience of our country following the events of September 11, 2001. We listened to the memories of speakers who were directly impacted by these attacks. The student body, faculty, staff, and guests were charged to never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom. It was a beautiful assembly.
BCHS thanks all first responders and members of the United States military for their service.

Mrs. Dunkum's Teachers for Tomorrow students visited Buckingham Primary School in preparation for their work as Teacher Cadets this school year. We are so glad to have our future teachers as part of Team Buckingham! #EveryKnightEveryDay. #TheBuckinghamWay!

When you ride by the CTE center, see if you can spot the newly built bridge constructed by Mr. Scialdo's Carpentry II and III students. They did a phenomenal job with this project! Way to go KNIGHTS! 💚💛 #EveryKnightEveryDay. #TheBuckinghamWay!
