🍴 Details: Families will receive 10 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch for students.

Once the form is submitted, we’ll prepare your meals for easy pick-up. Upon arrival, sign in to confirm distribution.

Buckingham County High School Families,
December 10th and 11th are SOL testing days at BCHS. If your student is testing, a letter will come home indicating the subject and date of the test.
Letters indicating testing subjects and days will be sent home with students on Monday, December 2nd, and Tuesday, December 3rd.
All students will receive a letter letting them know if they are virtual or not.
For students who are not testing, December 10th and 11th will be counted as virtual days. They will be marked present and should complete their classwork at home via Google Classwork.

The Buckingham County School Board will be holding a special meeting on December 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the Maintenance and Transportation Complex with the Virginia School Boards Association for the purpose of beginning the process of searching for a superintendent.


The BCHS SCA is holding its Annual Cookies with Santa on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Buckingham County High School. The cost is $5 per person and includes all the listed activities. See the posted flyer for details. In addition to the Cookies with Santa, they are also hosting a Holiday Bazaar that is free to enter during that time.

Dear BCPS Families and Community, Please be advised that Buckingham County Public Schools will have an early dismissal at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, November 5th, for all students and staff for Election Day.


The FFA Fruit and Nut Sale has begun! Orders will be taken until November 12th. Shipment is expected the week of December 2nd. Orders can be placed with an FFA member or an advisor, Mrs. Casey Davis, cdavis@bcpschools.org, or Mrs. Sherry Dorrier, sdorrier@bcpschools.org. This is the main FFA fundraiser for the year and helps students attend state conventions, contests, and leadership events throughout the year.

Please join us on Saturday, October 26th, from 6:30-9 pm for our Haunted CTE in support of our high school clubs. The line for the haunt closes at 9 pm. Admission into the haunted event will be five dollars per person. Anyone aged 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult companion. There will be food available for purchase and free photo opportunities. Parking will be available in the high school bus loop.


The JV Football game against Prince Edward scheduled for tomorrow, October 23, 2024, has been canceled. Prince Edward's JV team has forfeited. The Varsity Football game scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2024, is still being played.

The Buckingham CTE student organizations, with the help of the BCHS Drama Dept., are hosting "The Haunted CTE". It is a one-night spook event at the Buckingham CTE. The public is invited. The charge for entry is $5.00. Parking is in the BCHS Bus Loop. There will be food & drinks available for purchase. All children 13 & under are required to have an adult companion to participate.
